Post by: scruffy on May 30, 2007, 07:28:48 AM
Got off of work early and the kids are at grandmas and grandpas, sitting around deciding what to do , i finally made the choice to head to the  Cap.Arrived around 1:30 at mid river and began casting into a nice looking tailout of the pool, after a while seen nothing so i packed it up and headed of to the infamous fools pool to check things out a couple of guys standing on the edge of the rock trying to hook anything they can(no comment) so i walked over to the dog leg and to my  surprise no one was there .So i climbed down and began casting, another hour passed by still nothing, then the phone rings i answer and am chatting when i see my float does the funky jerk i thought snag so i give her a pull and bam fish-on i fumble to put the phone down only to drop it as i was reeling in the slack.By the time i got control of things there was no fish at the end of my line and i was picking up my scratched up phone .

Funny how fish has the knack to bite when you're occupied with doing something else.
