Got to the lake at 6.30pm, fished til 9. Got a few, mainly strip casting. Fishing has been somewhat slow the last couple weeks. That otter needs to be removed, and more CO's need to be around for the beeks fishing with 2 rods from shore and keeping way over there limit. I dont think I'll fish it again for a while, too much pressure on the lake right now. People need to read the regulations, cause I've told a bunch of people to obey the rules. It's funny cause they say, "oh ya ok." Then I come back, and their doing the same thing. There were two guys there the other week, fishing 2 rods each, (4 in total), and with a double bar rig set-up (2 hooks on each line). I could tell they kept way over their limit. Next time, I'm bringing a phone and hopefully something can be done about these bozos. I guess you just gotta ignore them and hope a CO will eventually come.
Anyways, Derp and I also went out on Monday in from about 10.15-12.15 and got a few. Fishing was ok, but still not great.

Either way the fish end up in a freezer. CO's probably spend more time protecting "wild" stocks.

Being that someone was trying to sell the fish I can only imagine that people have purchased in the past... kinda disgusting if you ask me...

I would be willing to bet the people poaching out of Lafrge are the same mongers that insist on whacking every single dirty old white spring or chum out of the local rivers in the fall. :o
