Well, I would like to be reporting on actually catching a sturgeon, but.....
Tried three spots around the Stave, and below, both sides of the river and right under an island in a more slack water area, not a hit all day. Tried Roe-sacks, Oolies and Lamprey all produced nothing. Was a real nice day out though, not much debrie coming down, although there was a fair amount more later in the day. One of the other boats that were out in our area saw a bright chrome Spring jump, we missed it. ??? ;D We did see what looked like a seal thrashing around with a fish, but it was a ways off, so couldn't tell for sure. Wish I had more to report, was a fun day out none the less, but again fishless..... :o :D

Well at least it didn't rain like it was supposed to ;D. Sorry the fishing wasn't more productive but this time of year is can really be hit and miss. I might head out once or twice more before the river gets back to normal...It is a lot of work pulling that damn anchor 10-15 times to get little action.

I was out today for a few hours and managed one 6 footer from my new shore hole ;DStarted with oolies then switched over to dewies and hooked into the sturg about 10 minutes later.I was also out last Thursday and saw lots off springs jumping after about an hour i noticed there were four seals herding the springs into the shallow bay that right beside me.
