I really think signs should be posted down by the Vedder River reminding people which sections are closed, and which are open. Below the Vedder River Bridge this afternoon, I observed two people spin fishing. Did not have my cell phone with me or else I would have called it in. But remember folks the section above the Vedder Crossing Bridge is closed till July 1. The river below the Vedder Crossing Bridge is open from May 1- May 31, but for "flyfishing only". The entire river is closed to fishing from June 1 - June 30th. The entire river reopens once again to fishing on July 1st.
