Title: alta lake, may 3rd & 4th, and the 9th as well (photos posted)

been out hitting the lakes in the whistler and kamloops area for the last month. have been having a difficult start to my stillwater season with alot of cold days on my pontoon boat with little or no fish. that all changed yesterday and today when i decided to stay right close to home and hit alta lake. yesterday pretty much every cast i was into a bunch of smaller rainbows and a few cutties. was into close to 30 fish during the day! biggest on thursday about a 16 inch rainbow that felt alot bigger with the great fight the little bugger put up. hit the lake again today and it was a little slower but still got close to 15 to my pontoon boat. got a beautiful cutthroat that was close to 20 inches. using olive green micro leeches and wooly bugger with some flash. got the smaller fish for the most part on the rod i was stripping in and the bigger fish all seemed to like the trolled rod, finally a couple banner days out on the water...
ill post some pics in a few days when i get back home

went out again today (May 9th) and had another excellent day on alta lake. fished micro leeches and wooly buggers with flash again and got a bunch of smaller rainbow (10-14 inches) and two beauty cutthroat around 16 - 20 inches...another 20 fish day and less than a minute drive from my house. life is good  ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, those are some dandy lookin' fish ;)
