Title: Lost Chocolate Lab Saturday Morning
Post by: johnny on April 29, 2007, 08:50:47 PM
Our family has lost our 2 yr old chocolate lab in Abbotsford on Saturday Morning, April 28th. She is very friendly, well groomed and did not have her collar on. Her ears are tattooed. Kids and parents miss her tons, please call 604-845-0085 if you have seen her. Her name is Vashti.

Very glad to here you found your dog I don't know what I would do if mine got lost with no tag. Tags are around $5 at pet food stores. One of the first things I got for our boxer. The last thing I needed was for him to run away and for the person that found him to have no way to contact us. Very small price to pay considering the price of a new dog and the tears from the kids and the wife.

Great to hear the dog is back :)

If I had a Boxer I'd have a large tag that weighed the mother down so he couldn't run away. We had one that died recently of old age which amazed me because the dog was so accident prone and would take off at the worst times. I miss him but don't miss him. He died several times and kept coming back to life which really gets to you after awhile. He ran from me fishing on the Capiliano and I did miles looking for him. Turned up at a vet next day, had his Surrey license on. He did that so I never took him fishing cause I guess they get bored and want to go home. I can outrun the pug and he only runs for food anyway.

She is tagged and tatoo'd... but JUST had a bath and the collar was off.

 :-\

The crux of the problem was that the youngest let her out by accident then never told anyone for an hour.
