Hi everyone,
I just have some questions about belcarra dock. in coquitlam. I haven't been to that pier for more than half a year now but plan on going back real soon with my little cousins for fishing n crabbing. I used to go around once a week even in winter times, it was the only thing that kept me sane when my finals for SFU hit. I was just wondering if anyone has been there recently and how the pier is looking around this time. is it very crowded?? also i was wondering if anyone has ever caught anything other than these fish at the pier: starfish, starry flounder, bullhead, perch, greenlings. I used to catch a fair deal of starry flounder per month at the pier and i remember some folks telling me that there were loads of starry flounders 10 years back. I hope i get get one of those so my cousins can enjoy their fishing trip.
anyways Im looking forward to your replies thanks.

Im not sure flounder fishing would be good right now from the pier ..however i could be wrong.. I may take my boat around bellcarra saturday for some crab and stuff!

With the estimated close to 20C temp. Those fish just might be back. However, don't have your hope too high though. Usually pier fishing picks up after May long weekend.
