Where do you go and can look at and/or buy a decent fish finder? looking for the hummingbird 565 or 575 or piranha 240...
-
Try Nikka Fishing & Marine in Richmond. They have many different models of fishfinder on display for you to compare.
-
Also try steveston marine... I believe you may find some of the guys who work there are on this forum, and may be able to help you out there...

yup ...at steveston marine (langley, vancouver and steveston) we have hummingbird, garmin, eagle, pirahna and tonnes more. just think all the stuff for fishing.... yer boat... and we carry sounders and chartplotters for darn near every application at the best prices around.

pretty much any shop should be able to get it for you. I think there is a local distributor that stocks Humminbird along with the Minnkota products.

Be sure to check the return policy-many of the smaller shops won't do returns on electronics at all-once you buy it you're stuck with it.
A place like West Marine has a No Hassle Return Policy and so is very easy to deal with plus they have the best prices and service.
