Title: is Seymour river dead?
Post by: Piranha on February 08, 2007, 10:23:28 AM
Has anybody caught a fish there? I went there yesterday. Got there at 7am and got out at 3pm. NOT A BITE.  no fish chasing after my offering. nothing.  This is my third time there and never ever have seen a fish in this river.

In squamish river I've seen many fish like dollies and salmon swimming up to my bait to have a look what it is. Not at Seymour river.
I think because of the construction up top and also noticed many metal rods on the shores of the river might be polluting it?

I tryed pink worms, and small gooey bob with wool. water was clear and I fished from abover fishermans trail down to twin bridge.

most winter fish live in the canyon down to tidewater. try lower down on the next rain.
