I liked the awkward sort of side arm casting she was doing to get under that ledge!! Yup, she is pretty good. ;)

I just looked in my back yard a minute ago, and she probably took off, or wasn't even there! Who are you trying to fool? not me!

He means that Kathy is one of the best if not the best female fly fisher around, and that she lives in the lower mainland!! ;D

Joan Wulff is a true champion and has been for about seventy years. I have read all her books and her books on fly casting are the only ones I recomend to my students. Think about it; she was casting 120 feet before glass rods were on the market and here late husband Lee Wulff pioneered much of the stuff we take for granted today. Last word Joan and Lefty are the only two so called fly masters that I have seen hand cast effectively ( sixty feet to be exact). While Joan explains who to hand cast a fly line in here book; try and do it.
