Title: Chehalis River and Inch Creek
Post by: sassygrams on December 07, 2006, 06:14:23 PM
;D Athezone took me fishing today - was an awesome day!  Not for catching fish but I learnt stuff - anyways, he said I could post a report - so....
The chahleus river was in perfect condition, flow was good and was very clear - but one little problem....  no fish bitting today!
Then we went to Inch Creek - and finally Al got a 2 lb jack and I actually 'almost' caught a old, chum but he broke my line :)

The day was great - met a nice fellow and his wife, I used one of his rods and wow - even my little reel on it, was alot to cast and to let it drift, can just imagine what it is like to get a fish on :)  His roe was beautiful - I don't have any of that so I had a wonderful day.

Thank you Athezone for taking me out - see, I don't complain, hiked ok up and down that canyon (wouldn't want to do that myself) and thank you for teaching me a bit about the water conditions.

I am going out tomorrow, but closer to home - hopefully I'll have some luck.
