Jack Coho or Jack Spring ? Here is the pic from Sunday at the Cheakamus. My original post is here: http://www.fishingwithrod.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=12878.0
You can't see it in the photo but the adipose fin is clipped. I should have mentioned this earlier.

Jack Coho. ;)

Yes ! ;D BTW I am no longer a Junior Member. 100 posts ? LOL, that's cool.

The photo does show some spotting on the ventral half of the tail but since the tail is not that clear in the pic I will have to go with the white looking gums. Not the greates ID pic but HO HO HO and a bottle of rum would be me guess!
Edit: I am not insulting the photographer since I know how hard it is to take pics when you are fishing alone (I rarely even bother anymore)

None taken :) I was trying out my new water proof case and am surprised the photo turned out as good as it did.
-
are you using a case specifically designed for your camera or an aqua bag? As stated it is kinda hard to tell from the pic but I'm going with jack coho.
-
Eagleye, it is a case made by Canon for the SD450.

Thats cool, can you take underwater pics with that too?
-
How much is that case ? Will it fit all models of the Canon digital cameras or is it model specific ?

I was up Indian river earlier this month collecting eggs for the hatchery and a guy there had one of those
waterproof boxes
he was taking video footage under water of the Chum that we were collecting
the footage was very clear

Hey LF, yeah you can take underwater pics and full motion video with it as well. ;D

You will spend about $250.00 CDN including taxes but I got mine off of ebay for $150.00 CDN including shipping. They are model specific. I have a Canon SD400 and it won't work. Works only with the SD450 with which it was made for.

Good information. Thanks.
