I was there last year at this time because I had a hockey tournament. It had a lot of stuff that you would not use here but it did have some good stuff and some great deals. I got a pair of neoprene waders for $30, and they are good quality. It is an all sports store, fishing, hunting, hockey, and lots more. If you are going down there it would be worth a visit because there are some good deals. But whether its worth a trip is up to you, it all depends on what your looking for. Hope that helps a little bit. :)

There is one in Bellingham now, just opened this month...Ton's of stuff...and I mean tons...but a lot on the really cheap side as far as fly fishin...gear stuff, lots....I kind of consider them one step above wally world...Not much knowledge, lots of low prices...IMHO your better off supporting your local shops... ;)

Even better if you can make the extra drive and go into Oregon. They don't have any state tax there.
We were there for four days and my friend ended up buying a 9' fishcat pontoon for $499 american. It worked out to be just over $550 canadian.  I am sure that same pontoon sells for more here.  Awesome store all around.

#5 blue fox vibrax spinner (labour day sale or something like that): $2.79 US  :o

I bought some lures, procure, fly tying material, camo shorts, etc, etc!  I was hard to leave without dropping more emoney than intended.

Not that great, a step above Wal Mart, but 5 steps below Sportsman's Warehouse and 50 steps below Cabela's (which I hear have been in negotiations to locate a store either near Olympia or Spokane, WA).

I just got back from visiting a friend in Portland (Yes the drive back was difficult to say the least).  I stopped to have a look at the GI Joes on Friday on the way down.  They had a few good deals on reels (only on Friday I believe).  An Abu Garcia D5 reel for 39.95 and a 6600 C4 for 74.99.  Didn't buy anything though as I normally support my local tackle shop ;D (was just looking!).  A Cabela's is scheduled to open next fall down in Lacey, Washington which is about 40 miles south of Seattle.
