Now here is a timely thread...just cracked a cold one.
My all time favorite beer is a good german Weizen beer...hence my handle :)
The best that i've had so far is called: SCHNEIDER WEISSE
(http://www.schneider-weisse.ch/bilder/origin_1.jpg)
Domestically speaking, my current favorites are: Sleemans Honey Brown, Rickards Red, OK Spring Pale Ale...to name a few
But the domestic beers change depending on the season, and my moods.
-
FAV DOMESTIC IS RICKARDS RED AND BUDWEISER !
-
Budwieser all the way ;D ;D
-
Too many to name. I enjoy a cold Guinness every now and then and my list of imported English, Scottish and other Irish beer is just perfect. For domestic, I do enjoy the smaller micro breweries like Nelson, Vancouver Island and Granville Island but I like Kokanee Gold as well.

I was surprised at how much I enjoy that beer.....definetly a keeper that one :)

Root beer ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Heineken...no doubt about it...must have a vodka shot accompanyment though....
Captain bonk...great beer Zywiec...were you born here or there?
-
Heineken, Stella and Grosch. hey Rib good meeting you yesterday. any luck?
-
Certainly got a taste for Rickards Red when I was over in Chilliwack last October [05].
Rickards and Sleemans Honey Brown Lager comes a close second and third. Sadly Sleemans is the only one I can get here in the UK. :'(
Guinness is KING but only in a tradition bar on the west coast of Ireland, preferably in Co. Mayo ;D

unfortunately i am cursed with migraine headaches that cripple me. One way to avoid these has meant abstaining from alchohol period..... with the exception of the odd tequila. So if it don't fit in a zig zag..... i got no use for it hehehe ;D

Who drinks beer ? ;D Appleton estates rum, now you're talking.
-
No offense, but the last time I was up there, I could not find a Canadian beer that didn't taste like water. It's also a crime to put any ale in a can. I prefer Guiness, and many Micro Brews from Washington and Oregon. Widmere, Pyramid, Rogue, Full Sail to name a few.
-
Canadian beer has a higher alcohol content than American beer.
-
The difference in alcohol might only be 1-2%, plus, if I'm after alcohol, I'll drink something stiffer. When I drink beer, I do it for the flavor.
-
Colt 45 all the way good cheep buss $9.60 a six pack
