We hit the Squamish today, and had a blast. We left the house at 6:00 am; so we were up at 5:15 am. “Can’t we find a hobby that you don’t have to get up too early”, bemoaned the lovely Venessa. I just smiled, knowing she will be into fish after fish when we hit the river. As it is her first year of fishing, I want to build her confidence up. So off we went, and picked up my fishing buddy, English Michael on the way.
It was very cold when we first hit the river; there was ice forming on the guides. We searched the morning for the elusive Coho, but finding no takers, hit the main stem of the Squamish. Of course there were lot’s of other anglers, but in no time at all we were into fish. Venessa got into the swing of things very quickly, and was into fish before I could tie on a new piece of wool. All in all a good day. At least a dozen fish each to the bank, with that many lost during the fight.

cpin, sounds like a great day.
About posting photos.
1) set up a free account here - takes 1 minute http://photobucket.com/
(way easier then those non register free ones and they load way faster)
2) then upload your photos there
3) when you do upload a photo - each picture will have a file name which includes the "tags" that allow webpages to see your picture as a picture...it is beside the "IMG" box.
It's look like this below for example (I added the spaces to prevent the photo from loading so you can see the code):
[IM G]ht tp://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n89/myfishjurnal/6500c3.jpg[/I MG]
Include that entire line in any message posting here and your photo will appear.
That's it.
Thanks for sharing.

That depends on how much water is in it. But all the Chum I hit was in about 2 feet of water or so. ;)
