Title: Vedder Trio Tue.
Post by: BwiBwi on October 17, 2006, 04:05:51 PM
Well had to pickup kids at school in the afternoon. So... made a early start.  We arrived in Chilliwack about 6:30 and started fishing soon after. Not long after first cast fish on a nice doe.  Two males followed soon after.  Then all action seems to stop.  Not another bite until we left.  :-\  If only I knew we could have been home for lunch.  :P

Nice fish BwiBwi, Those look like they were a pretty good size...

I was out today as well, took the day off... It was such a nice day today, and not too busy.

I managed to lose both of the coho I hooked today right at the beach, after I made the mistake of identifying the missing adipose fins... I must never do that!

Back out saturday, pray this rain tomorrow is huge, the river is almost right back to where it was pre rain...

Cheers,
Nicole

Same results for me too Scruffy, a lot of spawners (coho) yesterday at the top end.  The hatchery channel is stacked with them from the last bit of rain we got.  The workers were processing fish for the "market".  Our assessment of spawners: "boots" should be left olone.  This was not the case at the hatchery, workers were sorting for species into bins and was told it will be processed, these processed fish are prized by some market group.
Makes you wonder do we really know what in them yummy fish cakes/balls or kippered salmon at the retail level!!!! :o
