Title: Facebook, Anyone use it?
Post by: DionJL on October 15, 2006, 05:36:23 PM: Just wondering if anyone uses facebook. You all are computer literate (to some degree) so maybe give it a try.

Post by: Fisherama on June 10, 2009, 06:17:27 PM: Just wondering if a FWR facebook group has been made by anyone yet. I'm assuming that many on this forum have now been consumed by the vortex that is Facebook. It may be a good way to share pics and make some new friends to hit the river with.

I don't know if this happens here but in the U.K companies frequently go onto to facebook to find out about job applicants. Pictures of party revelling 20 years ago can be very damaging in such cases. [I only allow friends or people I have met personally to see mine...but even so. Anything on the internet is potentially available to everybody]

Short of that it is a good way to stay in touch with people. For forums like this it could work well with groups of people I have met and want to exchange info with.
