Title: local flow sept 29
Post by: got fish on September 29, 2006, 08:07:47 PM
Well today I got off school early and decided to head out to the river for a few hours..decided to try a few new places i saw during steelhead season which i thought might be good for now..anyways when i got to my destination i saw a few flashes behind a big ol rock and decided to throw a few casts behind and see if anything interesting is living their... ended up being a couple of chrome coho... didn't end up hooking one :-[,kept on going and soon my float goes under but.. i guess i was day dreaming and missed it and pulled up a torn roebag :-X kept on going and again...float down and missed fish #2. put on a colorado and tryed it and nothing going for that.. walked up a bit more and threw out a nice looking roebag and down goes the float again and this time i connect with a nice fish....not a coho but a local flow rainbow..good size and off it goes...with a picture.. that was my day it was ok seeing how i didn't have much time to fish  ::)

Thats okay, in the old days to be called a beak meant you were an experienced anglers. In my circle of close friends we still call each other beaks a honour to be called one. Some of us greet each other with the words "Beako Be Gone".

It would be nice to go back to the old days in more way than one. ::)
