Title: Fraser Sturgeon September 27th
Post by: Trout Slayer on September 28, 2006, 01:02:28 AM
Well headed out with my buddy Paul tonight in hope that the early fall Sturgeon fishing picked up since being out last over a month ago. Were glad we did. ;D Armed with salmon roe headed down to our dock near the Alex Fraser Bridge. Tie up some bags and quickly toss the rods out. Instantly they start getting taps but mostly from the course fish in the area. Soon the slow pulls come and I feel 1 slight slow pull hammer the rod and it's FISH ON!!!

Toss the rods back out and it's my turn again!!!

Now we both have fresh bait and both rods go off!

Land another one and it's Paul who's into a nice one again.

Cool release shot. Show's how clear the river is!

Miss a couple after this and bam Fish On!!! One more time before packing up.

Pretty good night for being out only 1 1/2-2 hours! 6 to hand in total. ;D

Yep, ask Paul about it. ;D Bomb your casts past it or way upstream or downstream and wont have any problems. :)
