Title: Fraser Sept.5
Post by: troutbreath on September 05, 2006, 09:48:19 PM
Hit the Fraser for sox one last time and everyone was limiting out in no time. Also a lot less people around. Nice morning in the sun then off to work feeling ready for the week. Some big springs showing up as well. Saw lots of Commercial boats on the way to work so that would have put a damper on the fishing if it didn't close anyway, but seems like the most sockeye in September I have ever seen. getting the bar rod ready for the weekend

I'll concur with troutbreath, wonderful evening on the river - spent it with the future Mrs. GHC - and we cooked up a meal after limiting out.  Fish were still nice and silvery, and far less people out.  Might be a touch slow today for anyone heading out as there was a gauntlet of boats with nets out that I could see heading over the Port Mann.  Still, should be another enjoyable day out there and fish should be found.

Enjoy the last day and take two sacks with you, one for your fish and one for any garbage out there.

Cheers to all.
