Hi all, a quick report just to re-establish my presence, although unseen, on all little creeks that run east of the rockies ;)
Fished a famous cuttie stream called the livingstone the other day, and it was phenomenal with over 60 fish landed by my buddy and I. We did get to explore a small tributary to this creek and managed to get a few in the 12 to 15 inch range. Not bad for a trickle of water really.
Yesterday, I hit a small creek that I saw on a map that I had never heard much good about, so I didn't expect many fish... and it wasn't a 60 fish day, but we each got about 10 fish. Mostly cutties, and I broke off a bigger one in a log jam (I estimated it at 15 inches). Here's some pics.

Here I am flogging the water. The first part of the day was just a walk downstream making mental notes... As soon as it cooled down (and I presume the quads got out of the water) the silt cleared up, and the fish started rising a bit.

This is the first fish I got out of the log jam. Nice fish, holding REALLY close to the fly stealing roots.

Healthy little cuttie.
