Well today for the first time in Chilliwack I saw sockeye advertized for sale. Saw numerous signs on telephone poles listing sockeye for sale at $12 a fish. I saw one green tote in a yard but it said closed so sold out I guess. Therefore I was not tempted to buy one as I have not had the taste of one yet. ;D ;D ;D
These would be perfectly legal sales because of the economic opportunity agreement signed by some First Nations Bands. So if you are up fishing and get skunked you can most likely pick up a sockeye at a reasonable price on the way home. ;D ;D ;D
Hope I have not over stepped my bounds talking about fish for sale. Maybe it should have been in the Buy and Sell part of this forum. ;D :-\

Of course the ones that were correctly accounted, and brought in through the LEGAL opportunities will be clearly marked so that people can avoid buying poached fish ::)
