Title: So Has Anyone Used The New Mustad Line Yet?

As per the subject line has anyone here used the stuff?

I've seen some but that's it.

If you've used it/know someone who has why not give us the benefit of your experience.

Please Note-this thread is not for discussing the properties of other brands-I've started it specifically to discuss the Mustad product.

I did used the mustad pro 15 lb for main line on my centerpin pin reel last season for steelheading,hooked and landed a lot of stealhead,(range from 8-17lber fish)didnt even break once.And i was using 6-8lb maxima for leader.Personally i think the mustad pro line is ok,but all depends on how you play the fish too.(I saw a lot of guys break their line when they try to horse their fish in )

I've tried it. Good quality line, but as Big T said, it depends on how you play the fish. it will break just like any other line. Personally I don't think you could go very wrong with it.

I have used it as leader material and it is as good as Maxima

pretty strong for soft line. great price.
