woke up after a power nap from work and decided to head off to the river got there around 7am and first cast fish on ;D pull in a 10lb chromie place the doe in the water and two more casts later fish on ;D again after that packed up the gear and headed off for home,i must say if you spend more time driving than fishing then that's a great day :) tight lines to you all.

Was out yesterday, limited out and lost a spring at the beach in 45 minutes. The spring was sitting 7-10 feet of shore and I ask A guy if he minded netting it for me and he mumble then sat there was like kid "just beach it" so i tried and i loast it 8)

was at the biggest gong show on the river PEG ;) when i got there i had to stand at the very end of the line of course because all prime locations were taken but after i hooked and landed the first one everyone started to work their way towards me by the second fish i had guys allready below me that were above me ??? oh well it didn't bother me a bit, then as i was cleaning my catch guy's were asking what i was using,if you are the guys who asked i will say it again they DON'T BITE you could have a bare hook and it wouldn't matter ;)
P.S: the 20' leaders that i had seen don't seem to work so well as it's very hard to cast.

Well I too went out today and limited out in less than an hour. Everybody that I was with also got their limit and on my way out I brought out my extra garbage bag and within 15 minutes it was full of garbage. Well it was half garbage half empties. Heading back their tomorrow so lets see if it stays clean for at least one day.

I managed to book today off and I hit the Fraser this morning with a buddy. We both had our 2 sox by 8:00 AM. Lost three other fish in the process of getting my second one. My friend lost a couple of fish before his second fish as well. However, we finished with a bang - double header with both fish landed... :D. We then promptly packed up and left the bar with only 2 guys left fishing on it!
We fished the Chilliwack area (NOT pegleg). I figure the fishing should be good for a day or two, depending on whether the commercial opening goes on tomorrow as well. However, I won't be able to make it out. I've got no complaints though. I feel very fortunate to have been given an opportunity to get some sox this year! The Hope area may be productive if the Chilliwack area cools off...
I also collected a bunch of used leaders left on the beach to take to my garbage at home. Otherwise, there was very little garbage in the area where we fished.

so at about 10pm i get a phone call while at work from the two of the three bros they started their fishing day when 4pm rolled around they got to the river by 5:30pm and by 6pm they were limited out on sox's after hearing what i had done earlier in the day ;) now while on the phone ,bro #3 calls and he's just finishing his shift and asking me to try it again after my shift and of course i say lets go,so I'll find out when i come home in the morning ::)
