Hit the seabird this morning got there at around 5:30 all the lower section was taken of course but i didnt care i like the upper part better BUT not to far up thats just snag country! anyways was into my first sock withing 30 mins , lost it right at the rocks! but didnt care much cuz it was a bit redish. One hour into fishing i get a light pull on my rod and set the hook at first i thought it was a sockeye because it wasant putting up much of a fight , I WAS WRONG! it was a nice 22 pound springer took me down the entire bar cuz i was using 15lb leader and 20lb mainline :P. Half way down im yelling as hard as i can fish comming down and of course there had to be a group of girls that were new to this fishery and didnt get their lines out in time and i got a crazy knot up on my mainline and my line goes slack :-\. We try to figure it out for 5 mins finally they decide to cut their leaders as this is going i realized my line is still quite a ways out in the water THIS IS NO LIE! i reel in and the FIGHT IS BACK ON! the fish was still there i couldn't believe it it just chilled out while i untangled my line. Now i know this a gift from the fish gods so im running down the bar telling everyone to get the F out the way and i was ready to cut anyones line who didnt decide to pull out on time( there was alot of people like that at the bar today >:( ). So finally the fight comes to an end and i beached a 22lb female. I knew now why it just chilled out while i was untangling line, it had 2 nice seal bites and healed up scares and a nice fat hook with line in its stomach , im sure i did it a favor. After that it was slow and took me the whole day to get my limit but i did.
P.S. Every part of this story is true and not exaggerated a hooked spring actually chilled out as i untangled my line not moving at all. Oh yah and i dont have a digi cam so no pics! sorry lol.

This is a prime example of why this type of fishing gets such a bad rep. People hook a fish and lose all sense of common courtesy ::)

School mostly and if been fishing pretty much every weekend from steelies to reds to sox. When the vedder starts up you and BS should let little old me tag along again. :P Oh yah BS i still owe you for giving me a 12 trip no hook up curse! so here you go. :-* lol
If you were speaking about me chronic flosser, if you really were a chronic flosser you should know the feeling when some A holes dont move out the way and just keep casting over your line when they clearly hear and see you got a fish on.

I like to stay away from the crowds; so I haven't had many problems.
