Title: Sturgeon Lower Fraser Aug 15

Fished lower river amungst all the commercial fleet. Seen a 6 foot plus jump . Lots of hits on the spring and sockeye roe. A few hours went by as we tried to find a spot outta the way of the boats netting we found a spot and were rewarded with a 4 1/2 footer which fought incredibly hard with one big jump and a few 50 yrd runs . We also landed a 3 footer which put up a good battle with 2 nice jumps a good evening was had and another buddie lost his sturgeon virginity. Seen the RCMP out in there zodiac patrolling . The commercial boys were pulling in lots of fish and one had a hole tree stuck in there net ;D ;D

thanks for the report, Sturgeon fight hard for there size, The 3.5 foot one i caught did like 5 jumps. :o

it really only jumped three times ::) ;D ;D
