my bro fished the fraser with the identical boat and motor for several years (his was black) that raft just went like stink he had to watch it when he was alone he needed to get toward the bow until it got up on plane otherwise she could flip you can extend the handle which is done quite easily with apiece of pvc pipe and a hose clamp
