Title: sox's aug 11 afternoom

went out  for the afternoon bite must say lot slower took me almost an hour and a bit to land my first sox,phone rings and the bros were on their way, so i pack up my gear and off to meet the bros,well all i can say is fish on as i manage to land my second sox with in 5Min's of casting ;D all in all we managed to hook into doz or so and landed 4 not bad for afternoon fishing :)

I too fished friday afternoon and evening and saturday morning...fishing was slow at peg leg...for 2 5hour sesions my dad and I got 3 socs and a spring...that was better than most.  drove down to island 22 and saw several native nets in the river between the cement factory (i think) and island 22...probablyt why fishing was so crummy at peg.

Saw the fleet up stream from the port mann too...good luck gang, I think it could get tough over the next week or so.

nice meeting Gooey at Peg Leg,

I caught one sockeye on Friday....really wasn't to much into fishing saturday due from drinking to much the Friday night

Can never understand why people risk damaging their vehicles not to mention the environment. It's not as if it's a 6 mile hike to the river. ???

Nice meeting you to BCH.  you missed my dads spring...the cost of over endulging eh!  How much longer did your buddy stay at it after we left and how did he do?

he was still  there when i left..he was planning to get some sleep and try fishing some more

i crashed for a few hours around 7am-9am...tried fishing for a few more hours then called it quits myself

was i sleeping when your dad caught the spring? how big was it?
