Hey, did you fly up - is it possible to drive within 15 hrs or so...where on the Skeena?

Can you gives us some more details on the fishing methods...back bouncing and jet divers?  Was this a self guided trip or were there some hired guns involved?

Methods used were backtrolling from a jet boat. Check out Lure Jenson's Website. They have tech tips on various backtrolling methods. We were fishing out of our own boat. Most guides on the Skeena don't know how to consistantly catch fish backtrolling. The Americans are a lot better. Drift boats are used on the Kitmat River.

A nice spacy jet boat is needed to backtroll. Smaller boats will work but it will track poorly when backing down heavy current. Motion Marine hands down makes the best fishing boat on the market. Back boucing is a art and cannot be devloped over night.

Great fish thoose are the ones we need to let spawn . To keep the cycle going . To ensure many years of battleing monsters of the Skeena.

Skeena is up in Terrace district. About half way up B.C. Around 12 - 13 hrs to get there.

12 to 13 hours to get there...if you're Michael Schumacher.  ;D  Last time I drove there it took about 15 to 16 hours. Absolutely gorgeous country.
