Has anyone heard about or used this baitcaster? I was told it was better than the Calcutta TE's for 100 bux cheaper

last time I was in berrys getting worms one of the staff pulled me aside and showed me the reel, very nice looking reel, I grew up using diawa spinning reels and back in the day they where top of the line. If I had the money I'd get one for my collection.

Used one for a day this steelhead season. Buttery smooth. More metal parts than the Calcutta 400B, however comparing it to the Calcutta TE is pushing it. Definatly a great reel but it is not tested and true like most other reels.

How much is this reel retailed at?

TE has the over sized gears, larger drag washers, and depending on the size, the TE's have anywhere from 5-10 bearings...I don't think the Lunal could compare to the TE...remember shimano is a gear company...does daiwa make bike gears too...i dont think so.
ome of the best bike components are shimano products...I don't think you can beat shimanoes experience and quality.

Thanks for the input.
