Title: Fraser river bar fishing!! July 23rd
Post by: The_Roe_Man on July 23, 2006, 04:41:45 PM: Well me the roekid, cohocody and my buddy fished saturday and a few hours sunday. I was the only one who landed one, I guess roekid will be quiet for a while ;D ;D ;D ;D. Heres some pics

Ok, that makes sense. Just kinda wondering cause We were in the back ground in one of your pictures and we were out saturday.

Did you boys loose one also. I heard someone in the lower part of Maple Leaf Bar #2 had one right to the beach on Saturday. I was told it fell off and there was some grabbing, chasing, and spashing ;D ;D as the fish gained it's freedom. :'(

Yes Chris, that was us. My rod went off at 7:20 am and I had it in the shallows a few feet from shore. The fish decided to thrash and hook came out. The fish went belly up for a few seconds in about 10 inches of water were roe kid jumped on it. It then woke up in a hurry and was gone. ::) My next fish bit 12 hours later where I made no mistake. ;)
