Well, I'm all moved out of my appartment and living with a friend. I'm hoping to get this one job I applied for in Calgary Alberta. If I do I hear they have good fishing out there. Except one thing, My ex took his fishing rod back he bought me. So when it comes to buying a new rod and wheel, I may need all your help.
cheers!

lol nice ex

Damn ... you got off lucky !! my ex took my big screen and my surround sound :(:(:(
-
oooo a man entertainemnt :o thats harsh
-
CC, what happened, did you outfish him? :o ;) Sorry to hear.
My recommendation would be that if you are in the Abbotsford area, drop by Reaction Fly and Tackle (http://www.reactionbaits.com), talk to April and she'll be able to find what you need. Knowledgable, but more importantly, she would know what fishing gear suit a female angler best. They also have a sale next week, so the timing is quite good.
Calgary? Jonny from the forum would be the person to talk to as he fishes the Bow quite often. You still need to join us for the St Mary's Lake bass fishing.

Does that mean you are single and looking? ::) ;D

For a new rod?? :D :D :D
God, how did I know that was coming..
-
Awh! Well from experience, I'd say it's best to buy the gear yourself, it makes for a cleaner exit ;)
I'm sure if you want a guy who fishes, you'll have your pick of the pack... It seems alot of guys are looking for a girl to fish with, and think bliss awaits if that simple interest can be found...
I have to add caution to that; fishing is the least of your concerns, a sucessful relationship is all about how personalities come together and communication, not to mention mental and spiritual attraction.
The physical is important, but beauty fades, and you have to look inside that other person to see what you're going to be left with for life...
Once you find that person, your whole life will be complete, and there will be no more questioning or doubting... You just know.
Hang in there girfriend, the right guy(s) are out there somewhere, you just have to keep your eyes open for when they do indeed arrive...
:)

No kidding man, you are starting to sound like a bit of a stalker!! :o :-\ How many of your post are directed at the CCG anyways? ;D ;D

I think this is some sort of joke :D
-
shes a personal friend of mine, we go way back. Im allowed to talk to her like that and get away with it. :-* :-*
-
yes but dude this is a fishing website looked at by young and old fisher people, maybe instead of posting your reply publicly you could have sent her a private email message instead.
-
so whats your point. The kiddies these days learn very early. They are not hearing anything new. Especially with the movies, vidio games, Tv, music, these days.
this is fish related, she needs a rod and I have one for her.

You're only seeing me more often because of the "pre-sox tension" that tends to build all to often :(
Somebody's gotta be the pit bull - might as well be me, I seem to make enemies pretty easily when moderating :D
Work's got me busy :( Gonna have to find time. (Nobody has offered to take me out on a boat yet even :'( )

I hear if you'd lower yourself to wearing a leaf hat there's this guy who "might" take you out!!! ;)
-
Thats a low blow :) I wear a leafs hat so not to insult the Leafcraft when aboard her. Been into fish 2 out of 3 trips so it must be good luck too.
I think the fish must feel sorry for anyone with that hat on and bite to make um feel better... :-*

Thanks everyone for your support. I spoke to Walter and he will keep this G rated on this site. I also agree, I think I need to just go out and buy my own fishing gear and learn on my own. I'll have a computer in Calgary as my roomate has one so I will keep in touch.
I will be missing the good fishing here in beautiful BC. I know they have white fish in Calgary. Have to look and find out what they use etc. As for the St. Mary's trip, I really don't think I will have time to go this year. I am leaving on August 7th.
If anyone has anything X-rated to say lets keep this board clean and just private message me okay? That goes for everyone including myself.
Cheers everyone!
LOVE CC

Well you should get into flyfishing, and check out the Bow River, it's a world class trout fishery...
Cheers,
Nicole
