After spending some time at Rods event and meeting some great people my girlfriend and I went for some sturgeon fishing from shore around Richmond. Five minutes after arriving the rod starts twitching and the girlfriend gets a good hookset, after about 5 minutes fighting it she passed off to me, it jumped and some joggers saw it and came for a look, well thirty minutes later I finally land the beast, my biggest yet! somewheres around six feet :o took a nice long rest and right before we were about to leave Mary hooks another, this one only about 3 feet buts puts up a good fight and an awesome end to the day.
