Title: July 4th evening on the tidal Fraser
Post by: Rodney on July 04, 2006, 09:47:44 PM: After spending half of the day running around getting all more stuff for Fish for the Future (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/fftf), Nina and I went down to a secret spot on the Fraser after dinner.

Shhh... Secret spot, don't let anyone know if you recognize it! ;D ;D ;D

Anyways, armed with a light spinning rod (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/member/gallery/album34/060704_2) and a small tub of dough, we made some casts into the weeder shallows to see if we could find some fish. A few peamouth chubs here and there, the bite was consistent. :)

Here is catch of today. I hauled this northern pikeminnow in on 4lb test Maxima and a size 14 hook. ;D Check out the bass pose. ;)

Not too bad for an hour of relaxation after supper. ;)

OK, so that is just not right!! :P I don't know, but I had some BBQ'd Red Spring tonight!! When there is that to eat why oh why would someone eat one of those things?? Oh yeah, note my previous post, I guess that answers my question!!! ;D ;D ;D

Anyways, River Road between No. 1 and No. 2 Road. Basically just head north-bound on either road and turn onto it.
