Title: Crabbing

Last night we went out for dinner and the crab they served is 3lb!!! it's well over 180mm.
Is there this size of crab around vancouver area or are they from VI west coast?

I asked the same question to a seafood seller a while back and he advised me that most of the crabs in the local shops are from the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
