Thats nothing just wait a few years. This time around I had to study for a mechanical engineering course, a deformable bodies course, advanced differential equations, economics and sociology. Worse yet, all these exams took place over 10 days..... :o

Gotta pass them both to pass the course! deep trouble :-\

Don't worry guys in a few years your exams will go from the nice easy provincials to the grueling 3 or 4 hour university tests such as "discrete mathematics" ,"mechanical engineerging", or "linear algebra".
The worst part.........
There is no government website for you to print off previous years exams, complete with answers, and the questions are ususally unique to each prof (with the exception of some first year classes maybe). As far as I am concerned provincial exams are probably the easiest final exams you will get in your live's so...... this sounds just wrong, but, enjoy them.
-
go to the states ;D unv exams are easier
-
Two years from now you'll hardly remember those bad ol exams. You'll probably not remember what you learned in school as well. Only the good times. I think, can't remember them either. :-\
-
i must say the easiest exam i ever wrote was probably socials 11. got high 90s on it, no studying. Next year will be hell for me. I find highschool easy and rarely do work or study. Work habits are gonna bite me in the my friend.
-
well in grade 6 i got an A on my wood carving skills :P Anyone here go to UNV in the states? Ill be headin down after next year.

Yep, Dion you're going to be pretty surprised in the first few weeks at UBC. ;) My advice would be not to leave any weekly reading behind, otherwise you'll find yourself incredibly stressed during the exam weeks.

A simple strategy I was taught in my post-secondary courses, Is to briefly review what you had covered that day, just makes the lesson "sink-in" a little deeper. What I found worked very effectively was to just flip the text book, page by page, back to the beginning and as you do this every day, you will find you don't even have to read any of it again, because after a while, you remember everything on that page. I aced all the finals using this methid, and I found no need to do any last-minute cramming just before the test. I know it sometimes seems like a waste of time to page back every day for a year, but believe me, after applying this method, I found it really does work.
Don't think of it as part of your homework (I guess you can), but think of it more as studying a little bit at a time though the year instead of all at the end of the year and suffering the information overload when you need it most.
Good luck to all the students still writing exams, and congratulations to the ones that have completed them. Enjoy a safe and fish-filled summer :)

Finished Physics, the last of my 4 exams today. It was bloody easy, just like chemistry yesterday. Hoping for a $1000 scholarship for my provincial marks. Fingers crossed.
