Title: CAP JUNE 20
Post by: FISHIN187 on June 20, 2006, 11:18:26 AM
Went to the cap before work this morning and got my 2 in an hour missed 3 other solid takes.  Water is getting low.  Caught one on roe and one on shrimp.  Most hits came on shrimp.

I was standing on the rock across from the tree that is quite tall where the river bends kind of the other way and eventually dumps into the ocean some km's down river.  Well the advice i can give is there seems to be fish in most holding areas with the low water.  6lb test a couple of split shots with a cut down foam float, fishing very illusively does the trick every time.  Fresh bait in good shape doesn't seem to make a difference.  The shrimp i used was stinkin, very ripe!  The roe was in crappy dried out shape.  First light seems to be the key.
