Title: Eaton Lake?
Post by: Hiker on June 17, 2006, 01:58:29 AM
Anybody ever fished this lake (between Hope and Chilliwack)? Planning to go hiking to the lake and surroundings, so was wondering if it is worth of it bringing fishing rod. Didn't find it in regulations, so I guess only regular BC regulations apply as I think it isn't a part of any park.

Hiker, that is a decent hike. If you hoof it with a light pack it will take about 3 hour plus . Less if you power it. There probably still is fish up there (I went there 15 years ago a few couple times), was good places for them to spawn off the deep lake in nice creeks. We brought small inflatables but you could of caught the same size fish off the shore.
Picture looking down toward east end.

Thanks Trouthbreath :)

I am planning to actually camp there, so hope that bringing fishing rod will not be just a good exercise.
