Title: Cultus lake Pikeminnow Derby
Post by: Buckeye on June 07, 2006, 06:46:27 AM
Just thought i would post this ad here for those who may be interested in attending this event. This derby is put on in part to help DFO remove Pikeminnows from Cultus Lake as it has been proven that the high population of these fish has a negative impact on the endangered Cultus Sockeye run.

Looks like tomorrow's the big day. Where's the best place to launch a canoe there. I haven't been there in 10 years or so. I did cach a derby size pikey that time.

Boat launch just down the road by the derby headquarters that once again are at Second Beach. Stop there and we can give you directions if needed.
