I went a few times last year, and plan another day trip next month. Nice lakeside campsites if you want to overnite. The lake is long and depth varies significantly. If you are belly-boating, the south has more shoal and feature than the deeper north. Fishing is slow compared to stocked lakes like Buntzen, but the remoteness and surroundings compensate. Had a moose swim across during my last trip. Small trout, though I did land one at 18"..... an exception. The few others I caught were 10-12" range. Whilst in that area, you can also try Gillis Lake.

The area is great, lots of wildlife but very few fish caught this weekend, will try again, the fish that were caught were in the 10" range.
