If allowed to proceed, this will mark the death knell for several Fraser stocks!
What ARE they thinking?

Wait till the Fraser River Salmon Society hears about this.
Frank will get real riled over this.

DFO has moved their responsibility to the Commercial Fleet.

It is all about $.

This could possibly be the final blow for Cultus sockeye. On one hand we have one group trying to save them from extinction and the other trying to eliminate them due to coperate greed. A 50 % harvest rate on an endangered stock.!

They are raised in a hatchery now, and give thought to the other stock of Sockeye "Sakinaw" that they do not even think about.

Just think they could have 50% of a endangered species, that should make them drool. Where's Loytoya Hearn, fishing for Atlantic cod? Some people think extinction is OK as long as they can cash in on it

This a bad deal for the fish.

Im starting to believe the theory that the government would just rather get rid of all fish.
