Title: Lafarge lake may 1st.

got there around 6pm and fished till 8:30pm.  tried several spots, east end, west end and the south end.  fished with dew worms.  didn't even get a bite!  darn...  there were about 5 fishermen around fishing from shore, no body was catching anything at all.
i know it's better to fish with a float tube, but i have been catching lots of them off the shore before. what was going on..? i thought the lake was just stocked last week with 900 fish........  all gone?

Well heres my report. Just got my ultra light reel spooled up with 4lb test.Decided to go to buntzen for 45 mins from 7:15 till 8. Fished off the dock usuing a small sensetive drennan rodney gave me and a sive 10 hook tiped with worm. Was targeting squa fish. On the last cast of the night my float dipped down and landed a nice 11-12 inch trout. Gonna go today in the pontoon trolling flies.

Sounds like fun. Still havn't been to Buntzen yet but I plan on it pretty soon ;D
Have barely been in my new float tube :(

I also skunked fishing 6.30-8pm the other day in a belly, none of the other shoremen caught during this time. So I have a theory. Hatchery fish get fed at a regular time right....? Is that mid-afternoon.... morning.....? If they're straight out the pen, they may be on fixed hours  :) Give them a week to settle in, and they'll realize food is available 24-7  ;D

I never posted chicken. Someone went on my account. Tomorrow im goin to buntzen and will prove my arguing right. I will land 15+ trout ;D....just hooked up my motor to my pontoon.

O I will have pictures ;D Cody as for lafarge, i can cast across that lake with my spinning reel....what do you say we fish a little bigger lake where the location you fish and technique you use counts ;D
