Hey Everyone

Fished Deer Lake recently with a friend. Since it was a weekday, it was very quiet and the water was pristine. Lots of little fish jumping throughout the day just off a little point in the lake. However, in the 2-3 hours we were there, we only landed one trout on dewworm. Surprisingly, this fish followed the worm to about 4 feet from shore before biting. So it was defintely after a moving target. It turned out to be nice little cutty with a bright red slash under the gill plate.

Anyways, Deer Lake- lots of little fish, about 8 inches or so, challenge to catch, great car and beach access (pay parking), good times with the family.
