got there around 6pm and just wanna give it a try. this was only my second fishing outing here at this park. It was sunny and gorgeous out there, lots of people playing kites and walking around but i was the only one fishing there. Saw lots of fish splashing water on the surface (fish they are, i guess..?), water visibility was about a feet and half. I was fishing with sole fillet. tried a few different spots, no bite, two snags (lost my rigs) and the fish kept splashing right in front of me... :( at around 8pm, i lost my gear again due to a snag. it was windy as hell too at the moment, so i decided to pack it up and leave. no fish for me today but it was ok, just enjoy being out there. i would go give it a try again later this week. good luck guys.

The fish you saw jumping might have been smelt.
