Hi all, fished the Ranger Run yesterday from 4 till dark and was the only one left when all was said and done. Upon leaving I found a blue Stormtech jacket with a set of keys, nasal medicine and some fishing gear. The set of keys had a Save On More id card attached
to it and I thought, I'll just go to the store in Chilliwack, they'll scan the card and then they can phone the fellow and have him pick up said items. Not that easy! All the girl at the store had for info was his name, Matthew Pace. I've already phoned all the available tel. numbers listed for the name Pace and came up empty. I'm hoping someone out there knows Matthew and can send him a message that I have his things or that Matthew comes on-line and reads this. My tel. no. is 604-597-3075 and my names Alan. By the way I caught two steelies while I was there both on pink worm and they were both wild and I witnessed 3 others caught, also wild and released safely. Thanks All and Good Fishing.

Could it be the guy who was on the news?
-
I know someone who knows Matt Pace...I work with him....I'll pass on that info tonight.
Rib
PS: Ivan, what's this about the news????
-
Some fisherman fell and got carried down river, but later found on the bank by SAR and the RCMP.
-
Was he ok?? That is not the nicest river to get carried down ay times!! ???
-
SH#$#%! Wow, that might just explain the jacket huh? I don't know him personally, but mutual friends...He is also the guy who won first in the fred's derby....He OK, do you know?
-
Yup, hes gonna be alright! Suffering from some hypothermia and was going out and in of consciousness but was able to respond to commands. Gotta be really careful when you are wading these rivers! :)
-
No doubt (careful), Thanks Ivan.... well I guess we don't even know if this was him or not yet, so I won't jump to conclusions but sounds like it's a pretty good chance...how many guys named Matthew Pace could be fishermen on the chilliwack river, and how many of them would leave without their keys, jacket, or gear? Anyway, Athezone I've set the wheels in motion, and someone will get in touch with Matt and in turn He'll get in touch with you soon.
Thx,
Rib

Thanks ribwart, I would sure like to see Matthew get his stuff back because who needs the headache of replacing all your keys again.
I guess all I can do is wait for his call. Thanks everyone. :)

Hi Al, you may also want to phone Fred's Custom Tackle and ask for the contact of Wally Hall Memorial Fish Derby. Matt was the winner of this year's derby and you may retrieve his contact information through there to speed up the process. :)
