Title: Vacation package Suggestions (Fishing, whale watching, spa...etc)
Post by: badboi on April 23, 2006, 12:50:56 PM
Any ideas?

My girlfriend and i want to get away for 4 nights to a secluded lodge suitable for a student budget.  Ideally, I would like a fishing trip and then she could go off to the spa, but also whale watching, hiking, biking, etc.

Any ideas?

thanks

Salt Spring Island. ;D

Spend a couple of nights at Lakeside Gardens, in the rustic cabana. ;D Mention FWR, get a discount. ;D Go on weekdays, discount is even bigger. ;D

Then spend a couple of nights at Salt Spring Island Spa. ;D

Take a trip with the sea kayaking tour on the island. ;D

Not cheap, but not expensive either, reasonable IMO.

You could try April Point Lodge across from campbell river.  There's fishing, Whale watching, Kayaking, Hiking and Biking.  The specials they have in the spring might be in the price range for you.
