Title: Squamish April 14th

went to the squamish yesterday fly fishing to with friendsdidnt manage to catch anything most likly because i am not familiar to teh river we fished in between 22 km marker and 25 marker i was using the squamish poahcer as a fly and had some backup egg sucking leaches never used it tho  it seems the the water would be to fast for trout IMO but i dno and have any info on were some good spots are as i wanna head up there again its beutiful

we also headed up to edith lake inbetween alice lake and teh other surrounding lakes just cast spinners off shore had 2 bites none landed tho it strated snowing while we were fishing kinda cool .

just trying to ge pplsopinions on were to fish in the river and which water types fast slow deep shallow just how to find the fish ,and also just giving my report of the fishing that i did that day

The area where you were fishing can be productive, but it can also be slow. Fishing on the Squamish requires quite a bit of walking, as the river changes so fast from one day to the next. The fish are constantly moving too. Look for typical structures where fish would hold. Your target species for this time of the year are bull trout, steelhead and some rainbow trout.
