Title: Wally Hall Memorial Fish Derby

The winners of the annual Wally Hall Memorial Fish Derby received their awards today. Due to the record number of entries, this derby showed a profit and those profits were turned over to two organizations dedicated to improving the overall condition of the Chilliwack/Vedder River system. Lew Chater representing the Chilliwack/Vedder River Cleanup Coalition (CVRCC) and Gwyn Joiner representing the Chilliwack River Action Committee (CRAC) each received a cheque in the amount of $250 from derby organizers to go toward their organization's river enhancement activities.
