Title: Damming the Vedder for Hydroelectric use.

After going to a meeting regarding the Sumas power plant i found out it is now in the plans to Dam the Vedder.
The Didtrict of Chilliwack and a big US power authority have partnered to build the Dam by 2008.

The people of Chilliwack will get a much reduced rate and then whatever is leftover they will export to the USA.

Better get out and enjoy the Vedder while you still can folks ;)
