Started up the truck today before I even knew where i was going to fish... I didn't want to head to the vedder so i decided to do a little trout fishing...I drove out to Lafarge first... I was the only one fishing on the whole lake so i decided to move around and try several spots. Nothing to report except on small bite... I was using power bait at the time.. casted several times in the same area but never hit anything.....I went back to the truck to notice that a guy was parked beside me and looked to be laying down in his car.. Turns out that he was Laying...but not by himself....I didn't really know what to do being that they were parked right beside me. I decided that i would wait 10 minutes and fish a bit to allow him to finish... After a half hour i went back to the Truck and it turns out They were still at it.. I decided that his fun was over and started up the truck....... I am sure he wasn't a FWR member getting ready to fish because we all know we are far to classy for this sort of business.......and of course i know it wasn't a FWR gal because they to are Ladies and not front seat sleepers..lol
over to Sassamat..
Fished for a while watching everyone else as well... Didn't see anyone catch anything..A few people were fishing on each section of the floating dock.. Noticed a few beautiful dogs there. One dog that looked like a Boxer.. In fact i think it was... Named Tika....As i was walking to the truck to go home i tried a few casts in the shallows and hit 2 fish right after another...Not bad little guys...
Not a bad day.. I managed to see a little of everything.. and i guess spring has finally sprung..lol

I saw two floaters as I drove by. Brought my V-boat down and froze my ankles between 4-6pm. Tried about 6 different patterns, and at 5.45 used a large green scud and caught 2 in the last 15min in the northern section. Both came in at 14", but not much fight in them, let them go.

when are they stocking Rod?
-
Why would you want a lake full of Rod? ;D
-
Because I am a highly prized specimen. ;D
Phone the hatchery tomorrow for stocking info, as I don't have any yet.

did you nail anything..
-
Glad it wasnt you....that guy had 2 rods in the water..... The only thing i got was a strike ,other then that it was reallly slow. I was the guy on the far left side on a green stool.

I tend to wonder why people go to those lakes and do that... Its a fun trip to the lake.. you get all the people that load up on rods.. i like to put one rod in the water and relax and enjoy my day.. not worrying about 2 different lines and where they are.....
Ivan... were you sitting with the people with that dog... were those people in the gray boat still there...
